Concrete Canvas® rolls in new showcase at Global Centre of Rail Excellence site

Concrete Canvas Ltd have become the latest organisation to install a showcase product at the Global Centre of Rail Excellence (GCRE) in South Wales.

Concrete Canvas® are a Welsh company based in Pontyclun that provide flexible, concrete filled geotextiles that harden on hydration to form a thin, durable, waterproof, lower carbon concrete layer.

The company have installed their Concrete on a Roll® product as a showcase at the GCRE site.

GCRE is a new, purpose-built facility being developed in South West Wales for international rail research, testing and net zero technology development. The GCRE facility is currently in development, but ahead of opening has installed a 500-metre Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) line, which can be used for product showcasing.

The line includes 1,000 metres of showcase and which provides a product demonstration platform for organisations of all sizes.
